I have been engaged to my boyfriend for 8 years but after he asked me tonkarry him we never talked about getting married. When I tell him that it upsets me and I feel like we will never be married he says that we wi someday. his excuse for not having married me yet is because he said we can’t afford it and that he is afraid that he will lose his state health insurance for him and his two kids. I am very much in live with this man and his two daughters that I have been helping him raise for the past ten years because his ex wife is to into her drugs to be a mom to any of her 4 children. I have even helped raise his ex wifes two kids that are not his. I don’t know what else I have to do to get this man to marry me. I’m 35 and I’m so ready. I know he loves me but why won’t he marry me? Should I just be happy that I’m in a happy loving relationship, or should I tell him we either make a date or I’m gone? Help!!!!!

My boyfriend still keeps momentos and cards and a four year plan from his last girlfriend whom he buggared his best friend over (she was his ex) and I can’t get that out of my head.
He can’t tell me how Im different or better than her. Why does he keep things if he’s truly over her? I don’t keep anything from my exboyfriends and I’m sick of him not making me feel definitely like the one even though he says I am.
Is it bad I’m thinking about this type if things? I thought it was normal.
I can’t stand the thought of me living in the same room as his love letters and memories from her. How can I tell him even though he doesn’t know I’ve seen them and I know he’ll get offended that it worries me.
I want to feel different and more important than her if were to build a life together of marriage and kids.
Help please!!
